What we're building

Where hrppl is heading, in the open. The quarter is the only date we commit to — and everything that has already reached customers is on the record, with its date.

A free plan that stays free

Run your team on HRPPL at no cost, permanently — not a trial that expires. Employee records and directory, leave requests and approvals, clock in and out, and full self-service for every employee. Up to 10 people.

No card required, and nothing disappears if you stay on it.

No minimum team size

Most HR platforms require you to pay for ten seats whether or not you have ten people. We do not. A team of three can buy any plan, including the top one, and pay for three.

PlannedPayrollQ4 2026

Australian payroll compliance, included

Single Touch Payroll Phase 2, SuperStream and Payday Super, award interpretation and minimum-wage auditing — as a flat per-employee add-on with no monthly minimum.

Elsewhere, Australian payroll usually means a custom-priced enterprise tier or a managed service with a monthly floor in the hundreds. If you have eight people in Australia, that maths has never worked. Now it does.

Add-on
In progressPlans & pricingQ4 2026

Pay in your own currency

Prices shown and charged in your local currency — Australian dollars, pounds sterling and Nepalese rupees, with US dollars everywhere else — at a real local price rather than a fluctuating conversion of a US dollar figure.

Your rate is fixed when you subscribe and does not move because an exchange rate did, or because you happened to be travelling. If we do not publish a price in your currency yet, the page tells you which currency it is quoting instead of quietly implying a local one.

Your data is never deleted without you asking

No commercial event will ever destroy your data. Not downgrading, not a trial ending, not cancelling, not going over a plan limit.

Go over a limit and your existing records stay readable and editable — only new ones wait for an upgrade. Downgrade and the features above your tier become read-only, with all your history still there and still exportable. Cancel and you keep read access, and your export, for 90 days.

Deletion happens only when someone explicitly asks for it, and then it takes a request, a confirmation from a second person, a 30-day window you can cancel at any point, and a full export first.

Export everything you own, any time

A complete export of your organisation's data, on demand, in open formats — on every plan including the free one. Available whether your subscription is active, lapsed or cancelled.

Being able to leave is a feature. A platform that makes your data hard to retrieve is telling you something.

Plain-language privacy and security documentation

What we collect, why, who processes it, where it lives, and how long we keep it — written to be read rather than to be defensible. With the retention periods that are our choice marked separately from the ones the law sets.

Plus a data processing agreement you can download without asking, and a named list of every sub-processor and its region.

See what we are building

This page, and the delivery history beside it. Filter by quarter, by area and by status.

We publish what shipped and when, including the things that took longer than we wanted. A roadmap that only shows the future is marketing; one that shows a record is worth something.

Pay calendars for every pay cycle

Pay people weekly, fortnightly or monthly, side by side. Set up as many pay calendars as you need — including two fortnightly cycles a week apart — and choose which one each employee is paid on. Every pay run covers one calendar with its dates already filled in, and each salary can be entered as annual, per pay period or hourly.

Quicker, consistent addresses

Choose your state or province from a list instead of typing it, so every address is recorded the same way. Address search is next.
